We can only apply for an employment visa when you are traveling to India for one of the purposes found below. For all other purposes you need to apply for visa in person at the Embassy:
Visumdienst India can procure an employment visa when:
- Traveling to India for the installation and commissioning of equipment/machines/tools in terms of the contract for supply of such equipment/machine/tools.
- Traveling to India to provide technical support/services, transfer of know-how or supply services for which the company in India pays fees/royalties to the foreign company.
Requirements
- 2 recent photographs.
- A letter of guarantee from the company registered in the Netherlands by which the applicant is employed, stating clearly the reason for the visit to India. Vague expressions like "business visit", "meeting" etc. should not be used. The job description should also be mentioned in this letter. This letter is required even if the applicant is the CEO of the company. In case of consultants or individual not working for any registered company, evidence of business dealing with Indian companies or professionals must be provided. In case of no past dealing with Indian companies, then proof of past business dealing with any other country and a letter of introduction from a reputable Dutch company, or Government department or Chamber of Commerce is required.
- Invitation letters from registered Indian companies, private or public, located in India clearly stating the visa applicant needs an employment visa.
- Contract between the Dutch and Indian company concerning the project to be performed.
- Contract agreement. A letter stating that the applicant will perform the contract mentioned above.
- India Tax Registration of the Indian company.
- Certificate of Incorporation of the Indian company.
- Foreign assignment agreement. A letter from India stating that for the executed contract or project foreign employees are needed.
- Extract of the company, issued by the Chamber of Commerce.
- A relevant diploma for your job function. The must be legalized by the Courthouse with the use of an Apostille
- Itinerary/E-ticket
Fee
- € 99,- ex. service fee (6 months validity)
- € 148,- ex. service fee (1 year validity), if eligible
- € 247,- ex. service fee (2 years validity), if eligible
- €    3,- consular administration fee will be charged.
Processing Time
- Time may vary on a case by case basis. If all documents are complete, visas may be issued within 5 days.
